Understand the settings

Resize by pixels or percentage

Pixel mode is useful when a website, document or upload form requires specific dimensions. Percentage mode is faster when several images need the same relative reduction. For example, 50% changes a 2000 × 1200 image to 1000 × 600.

Exact dimensionsSet a precise width and height for predictable output.
Aspect ratio lockPreserve proportions and avoid stretched photos.
No unwanted enlargementProtect smaller images from being scaled beyond their source size.
Format controlKeep the source format or export JPG, PNG or WebP.
